TACTICAL MEDICAL SOLUTION – OLAES MODULAR BANDAGE 4in.

Description

Tactical Medical Solutions Olaes® Modular Bandage is part of the latest generation of trauma bandages and is beneficial for all performance levels. Packed with features like 3m gauze, a removable, closing plastic sheet behind the bandage pad and a pressure cup that doubles as an eyecup, the bandage’s advanced features are neatly tucked away and ready to be used or ignored. No hooks or clips to delay maintenance. Velcro® ‘Control’ strips prevent accidental unrolling of the elastic roll and secure the bandage throughout the application process.

Designed in conjunction with some of the world’s most experienced combat medics, no detail has been left out. From the self-adhesive “brakes” on the elasticated pad that prevent accidental unrolling, to the zigzag-wrapped gauze that easily peels away from the pad, this is the most comprehensive pad. No other bandage offers so much versatility in such a small package. Cover minor wounds, apply really effective pressure bandages, apply occlusive dressings and have the ability to pack serious wounds with one bandage.

APPLICATION EFFICIENCY
In high-stress situations, such as victims, the effects of stress on human performance often affect the fine motor skills of the individual. This makes simple tasks like applying bandages more difficult and time consuming. The Olaes® Modular Bandage offers a more effective solution to bandage options as application only considers gross motor skills and no changes in direction on hooks or bars. The elastic simply needs to be wrapped, leaving the elastic flat rather than turning into a cord. Control of the elastic roll is maintained by the control strips should the elastic roll be dropped. No need to open or wear a pack of gauze or a separate bandage,

A TRUE PRESSURE CUP
The unique pressure cup creates truly focused pressure on the wound site where it is needed, rather than peripheral pressure. By creating this focused pressure, damaged vessels are sealed at the wound site where they are needed. It also reduces the manual pressure required to hold, freeing the care provider to treat other injuries or losses. The pressure cup can also be removed and used as an eye cup to treat eye injuries as recommended by the new TCCC guidelines.
