Who We Are

Bellicus Shooting Gear introduce a new science based didactical and
training tool designed for Law Enforcement and Military Personnel, as well as for sport and tactical shooters.

The ProApto Bellicus Anatomical Shooting Target“ is a human sized shooting target
which aims to increase the effectiveness of shooting trainings among LE and Mil
The aim of this tactical scientific tool is to provide a human sized and easy to use
shooting target while at the same time delivering a useful amount of knowledge
(human anatomy) and cognitive stimulation (real human dimensions practice
added stimuli)

The Surgeon Practice methodology is a series of modular human sized shooting
targets which offer several solutions for training simulations. Different shooting
targets can be placed on the “anatomical shooting target” in order to cover the
anatomy and train on specular dimensions on armed and un armed human
targets. Moreover, several customized “human targets” can be developed on
demand. We already provide infinite photographic human faces (generated by a
machine learning algorithm to produce fake human faces). In addition, other
available option include the “NVS human targets”(neuropsychological visual
stressors human targets), which increase the visual cognitive load using motion
visual illusions and camouflage disruption.

Human Sized

Bellicus Anatomical Target has 1 1 human dimensions and proportions The shooting target is 180 cm of height and 70 cm of width in order to provide a more realistic training The anatomical target displays simultaneously the skeletal the cardiovascular and nervous systems along with all the other organs.

Printed with IR colours Targets are usable with analog and digital NVG.

Water Repellent

All the shooting targets are water repellent They are designed for prolonged outdoor use. Light rain, heavy rain and snow and high humidity will not be a problem for colours and target texture resolution.

Easy packable

Since they are printed on paper, they are easy to roll and pack away. Shooting targets with human dimension easy to carry around while travelling.

Modular Design

The anatomical target can be covered in advanced training sessions with other “human targets”. All the other targets match the underlining anatomy and can be customized on demand. We already provide armed and un armed human targets and civilian and military clothing In addition, can be used targets providing neuropsychological stressors as to increase cognitive load. Eventually, all targets can be customized “on site” with infinite photographical human faces, objects and firearms.

ANATOMICAL DAMAGE / SURVIVAL RATIO

Each region of the body is divided in anatomo functional areas which refer to the damage/survival chance ratio when the region is hit Any anatomical district is mapped on the target damage/survival grid reporting the percentage values of inflicted damage and the likelihood of survival if immediate aid is performed Specific damage/survival chance ratio are reported for the major vital organs (heart, lungs, liver, pancreas, stomach, gut, kidney)

AIM SHOT CHECK -> SHOT PLACEMENT AWARENESS

The simultaneous display of the human anatomy and the memorization of the related target damage/survival grid enable the operator to increase the awareness of shot placement on real human dimensions and proportions. Training sessions delivered using these targets would translate in a more reliable and aware accuracy when firing on humans is required. The operator will benefit of a contextual scientific knowledge supporting the decision making process in “kill/not kill” scenarios
